 So... Look up any hotel, there are hotels who have survived over 100 years without a gas leak and Carbon monoxide poisoning why is that its superb maintenance of the hotel. Now it may look ugly but at least you do not have an event happen like carbon monoxide poisoning. At the hotel in question I've had 3 people tell me this: Filters have not been changed in 3 years even though they were supposed to be all replaced all of last year Hotel was chaotic in the evacuation of the hotel (no drills were in place or SOP was out of date) Hotel is stating they had gotten indication of the gas leak however, guests are saying no alarms were going off, and that repeated 911 calls were ignored. As a staff member it took an arm and a leg to get confirmation it was safe to work at the hotel without any adverse health effects.  I do not care if this is an inference to the military. In my opinion this phrase should not exist because we should not be in Korea and thats all I'll say about that. Something I have experienced numerous times to where I would have appreciated at least a witness. So this is how this policy would work. Hotel with a Night Auditor and Security Guard (not officer it gets to security personnel heads) Night Auditor get a call or a queue such as a disturbance.
