Every Hotel Should enact the "We go together" or "In Front Of Them All" Policy

 I do not care if this is an inference to the military. In my opinion this phrase should not exist because we should not be in Korea and thats all I'll say about that. Im a civilian so let the hate pour i guess

In my opinion if you are on the overnight you should have a full support person in otherwards a second person to have your back.

Something I have experienced numerous times to where I would have appreciated at least a witness. So this is how this policy would work.

Hotel with a Night Auditor and Security Guard (not officer it gets to security personnel heads)

Night Auditor get a call or a queue such as a disturbance. One of two things will happen

Security will be dispatched along with the Night Auditor as a witness or vice versa, the second person acts as a Full Support Person in other words they will stay in the background with full attention to the situation, but will not act unless the Security Guard is under duress, even if the Security Guard is under duress the Night Auditor has the option to call emergency services and vacate the area as that is his or her right to do so. If it is the Security Guard he has the same rights as the Night Auditor but may face scrutiny because of the job description of his position and the fact he is there to protect company assets that include the Night Auditor.

Ejections will be handled by the Night Auditor unless the Security Guard can substantiate a rebuttal. All rebuttals will be subject to the Night Auditors approval. The Security Guard may disregard the Night Auditor's decision if the Night Auditor has been compromised, does not have the experience to make a calculated decision or if the Security has experienced a similar situation to where the outcome will be definite. The security guard has the right to override the Night Auditor with consequence. If the Security Guard overrides the Night Auditor an Override Report must be filed as to why the Night Auditor was overridden. A hearing may take place if the situation negatively affects the hotels reputation. A likely scenario of this is a group spending 50k or more for functions and the leader of the group violates hotel policy. Night Auditor may be directed to save the client at all costs, the Security Guard would be swayed to protect all guests at the hotel no matter the financial cost of that.

In reality anything can happen the simple fact of this policy is this. A security guard is able to ask the night auditor to act as a full support person in a situation that may be blurred or that may land that security guard in cuffs if the police investigation does not go in the security guards favor. Vice Versa if a Night Auditor is enthralled into the same position same would apply. On the overnight we are in front of them all in terms of what can happen whether maintenance, security, or customer service. We go together in that we back each other up. That's the bottom line.
