Shocking Points: Unless Your a Caveman, We are all enslaved to money
aaahhhh the end of the world as we know it! No not quite. Many will disagree and let me point some of these disagreements...
1.) Ichabod: My journey is to be happy in life not to be as rich as possible just to be comfy.
2.) Reginald: I follow Gods holy path into the light, monetary values and commodities mean nothing. I want to serve god and be a leader for god.
3.) Golem: What are you talking about? I just have a job and trying to live off of it. Money is important you know.
4.) Rich: Oh the American way is to be all you can be and have all you can have why not have wealth, prosperity. Oh and I do give 1% of my wealth back you know....
5.) Cornelius: Money is what makes the world go round without it we're in complete chaos
6.) Captain Ahab: You idiot without money you can't pay for your home, health, food, insurance, and afford to take care of your family.
1.) To Ichabod- I like your attitude you just want to live what is a "middle class" life without no worry. However, to achieve that you would have to excel and make essentially more money. Therefore, you are enslaved to money in that to reach that life at comfortness you would either have to save (money), marry a person who has money (money), or work your way up the "corporate grind" as they say it (money). Every path you take it involves money regardless.
2.) To Reginald- You follow gods holy path good for you right path to be on all the vices will be clear of your path except for one "money". Simply put your thought is genuine however, its just not reality. Think of it this way say your on a missionary trip and you want to go to Africa what do you need? (money). And what are you going to do? Fund-raise which leads to an accumulation of money. A pastor wants to start up a new church what does he need besides followers? Money. So in essense you are enslaved to money even if its to the slightest degree (not in that you want to get rich but the only way to help is money).
3.) Golem- I feel yeah man but look your trying to make a living right? How do you do that? Money of course. Where would you be without money? On the streets. Therefore money enslaves you.
4.) Rich- You know that's your goal and that's how you feel and that's fine by my standards. You can own the biggest casino in the world and call it Smurfalogio or Smurfalay Sbay and have others ask you and consult you. You may have alot of power but how did this become reality. How did you get power? Money. And you may say "I worked hard for this money" and yeah that maybe true. Which brings two thing you worked hard for this money.... and the money brought you power... correct... Otherwise you wouldn't have built magnificant places like the Smurfor or the Smurfitian they wouldn't even exist. Therefore, money enslaves you.
