Tips On Buying A Mattress From Sears Not Just Bad But Good...
1. Know who you are working with see if that sales associate is working for you or for themselves its very obvious.
2. Be aware that all associates care about there commission don't get offended if they show you a mattress that is over priced or try to hype it up.
3. Be wary of the sales associate who is trying to be "friends" with you don't let them fool you.
4. Keep in mind that all sales associates are diverse don't be offended by an associate who treats customers like business and keeps it professional.
5. There are quality brands and quality mattresses at Sears most at a reasonable price. They do have cheap mattresses and they are a bit over priced (if your looking for the cheapest mattress go somewhere else).
6. There is a potential problem with delivery of a mattress such as postponements, lateness, missing parts, ripped or damaged parts. Suggestion is to inspect before they even take into your bedroom
7. Just in Time- Fresh mattress 7-10 days delivery
8. Protect-a-Bed. To be honest never met a customer who has had to use the 10 yr warranty that comes with it but I've heard good things. It does protect the bed from getting stains and is very resilient. Definitely worth taking a look at
9. Troubleshooting. If you get the wrong mattress frame or box spring or return/exchange and call the store be advised that it will take at least 7-10 days to correct the problem sometimes less 3-5 days. There are mistakes that occur and it could take a month but this is extremely rare. I ask that you don't give the associate a hard time its not there fault. You need to vent to someone do it to a manager.
9-1 It is best that you troubleshoot a problem yourself. Mattresses is the backburner of Sears, managers usually deal with this department last.
