Middleton and the "I'm not wrong complex"

https://www.phillyvoice.com/report-phillies-gave-gm-matt-klentak-president-andy-macphail-secret-three-year-extensions/ More of a scathing opinion piece hope you enjoy its entertaining Secretly the Phillies just extened Klentakexcuse and McFail to extensions WHY?! They haven't shown anything, they built a power house club full of bats but no pitching to back it up, bullpen is battered with injuries Kapler is a mess, the clubhouse seems to be in disarray (and don't tell me no its because there Gritty), this season again there in First place then there in 2nd now there 3rd place the answer is to get rid of Kapler but I guess management still believes in this guy, at this point even though i don't like the guy i'd rather have Wathan hell I'd take Pete Mckannon or Ruby Amaro over this "analytics manager" in Kapler. And this brings us to the owner, I believe Middleton can't take an L on this one I think he is stubborn and wants to be right. He wants t

A Goldy D-Back Theory

I feel the real reason Goldy was traded before the start of the season was for a couple of purposes. 1.) They wern't going to sign him after this year. 2.) I'm guessing they thought they were going to get a better deal for him in the off season 3.) which is a theory, the organization did not want him to surpass Gonzo as all time leader in several different categories Let me explain number 3 in a perspective that makes sense because Gonzo I assume could care less if someone surpassed him as all time leader in home runs, RBI's etc. The ownership knew there was going to be backlash getting rid of Goldschmidt so what did they do before the season even started they traded Goldy. If they decided to trade Goldschmidt midway through the year I feel that the ownership thought the impact would be more catastrophic. All fans universally look at runs, hits, home runs, and RBI's so to make this short lets take a look at those figures. Looking at Goldy's stats he would

I spent five years in Kansas from age 10ish to about 15 or 16 when I moved out to Arizona. To me these were the best years for me I don't know if its because of the years of age that make it so memorable or the memories I had. I did have bad days in Kansas and bad moments but now I look back and I can remember the negative but I remember more of the positives of Kansas. Kansas is where I found my love of watching sports I followed Philly because part of my family is from there but always had the Royals in the back of my mind. I remember Carlos Febles, Kevin Appier, Jeff King, Johnny Damon, Jermaine Dye and I forgot the rest I use to have those SGA cards that they would give out. First game I went to was Kansas City Royals vs the New York Yankees I forgot the year and the score but this was when Kaufman Stadium wasn't even renovated when it ha
